Where Bonnie is strong
- Reservations go straight into your reservation system: Zenchef, TheFork, Formitable, Guestplan and more.
- More than twenty languages and a choice of more than a hundred voices, a cloned voice of your own included.
- WhatsApp as a second channel: guests can message Bonnie too.
- Listening back to and reading calls, and an approach for restaurant groups with several venues. Bonnie won the Horecava innovation award 2026.
What Joep does differently
- Orders from start to finish without a platform in between: the receipt out of your own printer, a Mollie payment link to your own account, and the receipt only once it is paid.
- Before the order, Joep checks whether the address is in your delivery area and adds the delivery fee and minimum order himself.
- One fixed price without a bundle of minutes. At 800 call minutes a month you pay Bonnie €215 (Business, 1,000 minutes), Joep €100.
- You add your menu as a PDF, a photo or an Excel file; Joep reads it and lays it out for a check.
Who suits which?
Bonnie suits a restaurant or restaurant group that works with Zenchef, Formitable or another reservation system, wants the reservation straight in there, has many international guests or wants WhatsApp answered too. Joep suits a snack bar, cafeteria or pizzeria that wants its phone orders taken all the way to the receipt and the payment, and a restaurant that wants its phone answered for a fixed price, with or without a reservation system.
Our verdict
For reservations in an existing reservation system, Bonnie is ahead of Joep: the integrations make the difference. For phone orders, Joep is the more complete choice, because the receipt, the payment link and the delivery area work without Deliverect. And whoever gets many calls pays less with Joep, because there is no bundle of minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Can Joep put reservations into Zenchef or Formitable, as Bonnie does?
No, not yet. Joep records the reservation with date, time, party size and allergies and sends your guest a confirmation by email, but does not put it into your reservation system himself. If you want the reservation in there straight away, Bonnie is the better choice on that point.
Does Bonnie take phone orders too?
According to Bonnie’s site, through an integration with Deliverect: the order goes to your POS and your guest pays on site or through Deliverect Pay. Joep puts the order on the receipt out of your own printer without a platform in between and, if you want, sends a Mollie payment link; the receipt only prints once it is paid.
What does Bonnie cost compared with Joep?
