No. You keep your own number and your customers notice no difference. You get a Joep number from us and forward your number to it, with your phone provider or on your handset. That takes a few minutes, and switching it off is just as easy.
Joep processes only what is needed to handle an order or reservation: name, phone number, the address for delivery, and the order or reservation itself. Joep is GDPR-proof and a data processing agreement comes with your subscription as standard. Joep says on every call that he is an AI assistant, as the EU AI Act requires.
